Meet Chef Katrina

Hi, I am Katrina, a second-generation Filipina American, born and raised in the Bay Area, and now based in Los Angeles. Growing up, my family taught me that cooking and sharing food is how we show love, build community, and care for one another.

Through 10+ years of home cooking, hosting countless dinner parties, traveling around the world, and self-guided learning, I developed a deep appreciation for thoughtfully prepared, well-seasoned meals made with quality ingredients. Time spent studying abroad in Spain and exploring food across Europe, along with living and eating throughout California, broadened my palate and deepened my respect for a wide range of diverse culinary traditions.

Like many of my clients, I have experienced seasons of life when work and responsibility left little time or energy to cook. That firsthand understanding led me to offer in-home personal chef services, supporting busy individuals and families who care about what they eat but do not want the mental and physical load of planning and preparing meals.

I hold a Master of Science in Social Entrepreneurship from USC Marshall School of Business and remain committed to community-centered work, regularly catering for local nonprofit organizations. When I’m not in the kitchen, I enjoy spending time with my two yorkies, traveling, and exploring different hikes in LA.

Food Style

Influenced by the diversity of Los Angeles and my travels, I cook flavorful, balanced meals rooted in nourishment and comfort, drawing from a wide range of culinary traditions. The food is designed to feel satisfying and energizing, using seasonal ingredients and flavors that develop depth over time and reflect the cultural influences behind each dish.

Menus are thoughtfully adapted to accommodate dietary needs such as plant-based, gluten-free, dairy-free, keto, low-FODMAP, anti-inflammatory, and allergen-conscious cooking. Every adjustment is made with careful attention to flavor, balance, and each household’s preferences.

Feeding our Community

Curated Eats provides catering for local nonprofit organizations, contributing over 200 meals each month.

A portion of profits from Curated Eats is used to purchase fresh produce and quality proteins for these organizations, ensuring meals are prepared with the same care and standards.
